I really want to travel the world a couple years on a sailingyacht but my biggest problem is being scared the ship gets stolen when on land, how much it costs to moor or anchor near beaches and authorities of different countries giving fines or confiscating the ship.

I am going to say it is an Ericson 38'. Since I was a little kid and us having a Cal 29, I was always asking what every stripe and design was from my father. I remember the Ericsson design because the stripe was similar to the Cal without it going all around the bow. That is much bigger than our 29'.

Is there a paper copy of your book? I want to read it but I don't enjoy audiobooks.

A friend of mine arrives in Oahu today from Seattle singlehanded, I did the trip last year singlehanded, we were just talking about how much you and some others have helped in our endeavors. I know you get attached after awhile and they do have their uses (somebodies gotta clean those dishes) but getting rid of the wife does solve all those sharing a v-berth issues.

What can I say... Just love it! Hope to start doing some solo sailing this year on my 38 ft Morgan in the Gulf of Mexico... Need the auto pilot working. Christian, you are an inspiration (at your mature age) ... I am 71 years young and never solo sailed. Thanks for your great videos!

I had not taken up sailing when the Covid virus was released. I continued to play tennis throughout the pandemic, singles and doubles. Fortunately the powers that be in my state didn't go full authoritarian over this. I believe it was clearly a man-made virus, probably produced in a US bio-weapons lab. The virus first hit China and Iran -- simultaneously. Eventually it spread to the rest of the world.
